Name of visit The Green Hike

Mount Royal is an inseparable part of Université de Montréal’s history as 60% of its campus is covered by green spaces and natural environments. A walk on the campus will charm you with the richness of the ecosystem that the university has committed to protect.

In order to discover this amazing ecosystem, Mount Royal’s history and its biodiversity, we suggest a relaxed hike through the campus and its wooded area.

The hiking program includes: visit of the gardens, the apiary and other sustainable development projects, Université de Montréal rich heritage and hopefully a glance at Roger and Spirit, the two peregrine falcons which nest at the top of the Roger-Gaudry Building.

An overview of UdeM will be presented prior to the hike.
